There are two negatives if you look a little closer, making it positive.

176--285
is the same as
176+285

which is 461

I ****ED this exam up so bad...not only was it so ****ing hard but the ones u i should have got right i made pathetic errors on...

I got C10 H8 N2
I got the same...

Yeah I got a massive negative value for this. Did the whole hydration = lattice enthalpy + solution.
like -3000 or something? ok good.. thats 2 marks. YIPPEEE!
4. what did everyone write on the lines for the born haber cycle?

How did you calculate the enthalpy?
5. (Original post by Heatheroink123)
Did anyone get uses for H2 as hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and margarine production? Or does anyone know if they're right?
I put those - well, I put H2 as a fuel and also for hydrogenation, but same thing as margarine, I hope :/
6. how did you rearange delta g=delta h-Tdelta s
i rearaged it to.
delta g divided by t then add delata h

7. (Original post by susan23)
i put enthalp was negative because temperature was 0 making S xT = 0 so the only way G could be less than 1 for feasability was if delta-H was negative?!??!

OMG nooooo thats probably the only thing i thought I got right!?!!?!?

That is exactly what I did...

But I think there are other combinations you can have providing you can explain them..
8. TBH the thing makes this exam hard is that theere were too much wordy questions and little marks for long caculations. However the difficulty of the paper overall is the same as in jan I believe
9. That was awful !!!

Yeh i got a massive negative value as well. Hopefully that will be one more mark.

I said fuel cells and the haber process but that sounds right!
12. What did everyone get for the percentage of copper at the end?? :| I feel so crap !
