Hey, up until recently, I really wanted to do law, and chose my A Levels kinda based on that, so now I am studying chemistry, maths, english and history with a view to do bio as next year. I have limited work experience with the elderly and vulnerable youngsters and I hope to get some clinical this year, along with some work ex as a health training. Whilst I am predicted at As, I wanted to know if my lack of a full a level in bio and limited work ex will be a problem when applying. Thanks

Take a look at this page http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/Medical_School_A_Level_Requireme nts and see individual unis websites to confirm how only having AS biology can affect you.

Thanks, but whilst they saw that the minimum is AS, I wanna know if in practice, those with a full a level are preferred

Well that is difficult to know and the only way you can find out is my emailing departments that only ask for AS Biology and asking them about it. The application process that each university follows is unknown and you can only know a bit by looking at the minimum requirements. Maybe you apply with AS biology and get it and others with A2 biology don't, it can be as unpredictable as that.
