I'm currently a foundation year student commuting in to Manchester everyday, and next year I will be moving on to a creative art degree and will need to live in the city. I was wondering what peoples experiences of Cambridge House has been as a place for accommodation, or if you are also considering going here?

I can't go in to halls that are MMU or UoM specific, as I'll be going to the Futureworks which is a very small university just off Oxford Road and they don't supply accommodation for their students !

I've read it has very good facilities and seems to have a good write up, but I'm also worried I won't know anyone when I sign up and through TSR, the possibility of meeting similar minded people on here beforehand could mean going in to the halls with at least one person I know won't drive me crazy!

Futureworks isn't a university... it's an independent college offering franchised degrees.

Cambridge House is okay - I have a friend there at the moment - but it is an expensive option and can get noisy. If you take it, try and find people you can share a house with in the later years of your course - it's much more cost effective than these private halls.
How are you feeling in the run-up to Results Day 2018?
