Ok so this year I took (all Highers):

    English
    Maths
    Physics
    Modern Studies
    Computing

And next year I've decided on:

    Adv English
    Adv Modern Studies
    Higher Business Management

But I also need to choose another subject or I'm not in 'full-time education' apparently, so I went for Adv Computing. However I've decided I'm going to change it because the Computing department and teachers at my school are truly awful and I honestly can't be bothered putting up with it for another year.
However I have NO IDEA which other subjects to consider...

My two cents: if your school lets you take an extra higher, then do it. Not only might it give you an extra edge later on (in terms of UCAS), but it's not really that much extra work. Especially do it if it's a subject you really enjoyed but couldn't take.

Is it Gaelic Learners you're doing? I did AH Gaelic this year was the only one in my class so it was pretty boring... but it's a good course if you liked Higher. I also crashed Higher Psychology, love it but i did it open learning and found it hard to motivate myself to actually work haha

Yes I am doing learners Gaelic, there was only two in my class this year and I will be the only one next year as my friend has decided to do AH Maths instead (god knows why!).

I'm also doing Psychology through open learning, really looking forward to it although, I understand what you mean about motivation - I have a feeling that (lack of it) will be my downfall next year!

Gaidhlig fileanta neo Gaidhlig airson luchd-ionnsachaidh?

Rinn mise AH Gaidhlig am bliadhna: torr obair, 's feumaidh tu bhi direach spot on le grammar. Tha an exam agam Diarsdaoin - tri uairean of hell!
Bidh mi a'deanamh Gaidhlig luchd-ionnsachaidh aig comhard an ard ire aortach an ath-bliadhna. Tha mo deuchain agam a-maireach cuideachd, ach aig comhard ard ire.

Gur math a theid leat airson do deuchain a-maireach!

    EDIT: Noticed a typo :/

as you may be able to tell... writing my weakest point!

Oh agus co as a tha thu? Gur math a thèid leat airson a-maireach!!

Do you have any idea what you want to do when you are older?

Uill, fhuair mi A airson Higher an uiridh. Agus tha mi'n duil A fhaighinn a-maireach cuideachd, ma theid a h-uile sian gu math.

Airson litreachas, tha mi a' deanamh Somhairle MacGillEain (chan eil daoine air an t-saoghal cho math ris), Domhnall Ruadh Phaislig agus Domhnall Iain MacIomhair.

'S ann o Eirisgeidh a tha mi. Mas e fileantach a th'annad, chuireadh e iognadh orm mura bithinn air coinneachadh ribh mar thrath? Aig feis no deasbad no rudeigin?

Cha chuala mise riamh "gur math a theid leat!" An Eirisgeidh cha bhi sinn ach ag radh: "DEAGH LUCK!" =L

Hopefully we finished the int. 2 course a month or so early, so did a couple of lessons of higher stuff before we started revision, what we did seemed pretty straightforward

Ah sorry I forgot to even mention anything to do with future career! Not that it matters as I have no idea what I want to do... Recently I've been looking into perhaps studying Economics (it's just an idea though... Just like I was looking into Law not too long ago) because it seems a good all-round qualification that seems to be applicable to many occupations...

    So really, no idea

Does anyone do Higher Accounts? I want to do it instead of Philosophy but I'm worried that it's just going to be a waste of time =/

This year I've done (all highers)
    Biology
    Chemistry
    Maths
    English
    Geography

    And next year I've chosen
    AH Biology
    AH Geography
    H Music
    H Philosophy

The reason I've changed my mind about Philosophy is I've realised that I don't think I'm willing to put in the brain power or the work, especially with the fact the Geography has two reports. So thoughts on Accounts? It would be a crash higher

Maybe you could do a language? As that would help in many jobs. Or crashing Chemistry or History?

I did Higher Accounts (a couple of years ago now - *feels old* ) and it would require a lot of work if you were crashing it. And I mean A LOT.

I'm not all too keen on doing a language at Higher level. I briefly considered crashing Higher Chemistry but... would it not be REALLY hard? I know NOTHING about Chemistry...

    In fifth year I took:
    Higher English (1st prelim C, 2nd B)
    Higher Maths (1st prelim B, 2nd A)
Higher Human Biology (1st prelim A, no 2nd)
    Higher PE (1st prelim A, no 2nd)
    Int 2 Hospitality. (1st prelim A, no 2nd)

I didn't think I could cope with 5 so Hospitality was my 'fun' subject, even though it turned out to be one of the more stressful ones! Providing I pass these exams and don't have to re-sit, In 6th year I have chosen:
    Higher History
    Higher Drama
    Higher RMPS
    Crashing Int 2 Chemistry (scared:|!)

When I leave, I want to go to Uni and study to become a Midwife

    Human Biology
    English
    Maths
    Chemistry
    Business Management

    Next year I've chosen
    Adv Higher Chemistry
    Adv Higher Maths

    This year...

    Higher Biology-We'll see
    Higher Chemistry-Average
Higher English-Mentioned Boris Johnson, I was laughing inside my head for the rest of the paper
    Higher German-Average
Higher Maths-Pure *******s. I have not done well. At all.

Next year (If I haven't failed)
    AH Biology
    AH Chemistry
    AH Maths
    Higher History

Will probably drop History to ease the workload...
