    Should I...

A). HEART- Go to Durham/Cardiff/Southampton uni to study psychology

B). HEAD- Go to this law firm that have offered to pay for me to do a law degree at Huddersfield uni with a guaranteed solicitors job after four years.

This is baring in mind that...

    -I originally wanted a job in education/health
-Huddersfield isn't the best uni in comparison to my offers
-I do business studies at college and find the legislation topic a bit dry
    -Psychology graduate prospects are poor

What seems the best choice in life and what would you do if you were in my position

I always say go with your heart...... but never on a whim. Always make fully informed decisions and make sure you don't believe your what your heart is telling you is totally unrealistic. I went with my head and have regretted it ever since.

Psych graduates don't have to have a job in psychology, its a very universal degree. You have to ask yourself the following:

Will i be happy and satisfied as a lawyer?
What else can i do with a psych degree?

    Prospectus.ac.uk will help.

    good luck.

    Hi,
I don't know much about law or psycology but if i were you i'd look up the syllabus for the law offer.. maybe go to an open day, or just to visit. Because i looked at law and apparently the alevel is completely different to the degree, and so that might be true for the experience of law you spoke about on your college course. also when you do the law degree you might be able to do some modules in psycology as options...
it might also be worth talking to the company who would sponser you to do the degree about going to a different uni. See if they'd sponser you to do law with psycology at cardiff... it's worth asking, they can only say no

but at the end of the day you just have to look into everything as much as you can and make the right decission for you

I always say go with heart. But regardless, think of doing law for four years at a uni you probably don't want to go to as much as the others....with psychology you could go on to do education, or law afterwards by doing a conversion and get a job probably just as well at a better firm probably if you try hard enough. and you'd be at a uni you love....seems to me like your head should be saying option 1 too
