    Hey,

I just wondered if anyone knew what counts for plagiarism in math coursework.

To be honest I'm not even sure if I am.

There was this question on triangular numbers and I had to figure out the nth term for the sequence. I found this website which talked about how I could figure out the nth term by looking at square numbers, I understood it so I used that idea in my work. I'm not sure if that's copying someone else's idea or if that's an idea that's just generally known.

It's fine as long as you can make it "look" like you thought it up all by yourself
