Guys recently i had an argument with my mechanics nerd friend who claims fp2 is easier than fp3 which is strongly feel the contrary. I want to know what you feel. rate which one you found the hardest unit that you took in further maths and you can mention your marks if you want.

my friend told me that FP2 and FP3 are two different non-related modules. So it depends on the person tbh.
My friend sat his FP3 module before his FP2 module.

I would love to participate in this (love giving my opinion) but I am only doing FP1 at the moment. FP2&3 aren't till next year for me!

I did FP2 and FP3 (OCR MEI exam board). Though my marks were dire for both as I basically gave up on further maths because I didn't need it for my offer, I found FP3 the easier one. The actual content isn't as hard as FP2, and you don't have to know the whole module, you choose two (or three?) topics out of five and do the questions on those.

edexcel fp3 though has no choices like ocr , u need to study the whole 6 chapters but its more an extension of c4 with some new things added like hyperbolic functions(which is pretty simple concept), and some new rules while fp2 has family curves with no general patterns that really freaks me out...the lengthy problems with de moivre's theorem though simple but very prone to mistakes...this is what i feel so far
