    I think i'd rather be fast and (presumably) more agile than strong and slow.

    Being strong has it's uses, but being fast would be awesome.

    Speaking as an ex-sprinter who now lifts weights, I've got to say the feeling of freedom when you're sprinting away from the competition is amazing... almost like flying

    Feeling strong is damn cool, but I'm sorry, for me it doesn't quite top being fast

    You can't have explosive speed without having some strength as well...look at guys like the Olympic sprinters, who are extremely muscley! You're equating speed with long distance runners, when long distance running is more about perseverance.
