# Really quick S1 question watch

1. I'm currently revising Chapter 6 Correlation and this question kinda applies to every topic

If a question asks me to find the product moment correlation coefficient r
When finding Sxx or Syy should I
1. Round up to a certain d.p
2. Round up to a s.f
3. Not round up at all and use the value what the calculator gives me

If I do have to round up, till what s.f or d.p do I?

Oh and are there any exceptions in S1 where I do have to round up or not?
2. You can use all figures, but at least 4dp's to be safe. You don't want to risk losing an Accuracy mark!

So the accurate the better?
Should I just use the calculator answer unless the question tells me to round up?
4. I was told to write the calculator figure, and then write it to 3s.f
That way youve got both
5. I'm doing edexcel btw..
