i'm going to truro college to study media:moving image HND, and they don't have available halls so i have to find accommodation myself. luckily the college provided me with a very large list of accommodation that they know is suitable for students and available. i've been adding information to the list to find the more suitable ones and it has come to the point where i am deciding based on the distance from the college, since i don't have a car this is kinda useful to know/major decision point. i've used google maps to show me how far each of them is away from the college, some are as small of a <5 min walk others are up to 25 miles away. they seem to have a pretty good public transport network but i don't know yet, what would be the maximum distance i should really live at. i have a bike but i don't want to be traveling more time than i what i spend studying, also is there ANY negatives of essentially living next to the uni. also would it be better to judge the distance from the city centre if it comes down to choosing accommodation in the city. sorry for the long thread starter and multiple question, thanks for your help in advanced.
