When I used to get mine done, it wasn't any different from shaving. Grew back fairly quickly, but that could just be me and my abnormally fast hair growth! :dontknow:

I like waxing better than shaving. Your skin will be smoother and your hair wont grow quickly or as prickly when compared to shaving.

I have honestly never heard of people waxing their arms before. Don't you get like... arm stubble? :eek4:

My friend does it quite a lot, hers grows back really smooth, and sometimes lighter

Same as post above, why do it?

My arm hair really isn't noticable at all.

... because on some people, it is noticeable

OP - I've waxed mine a few times but if I'm feeling lazy, I just shave instead. Quick and easy! If I remember rightly, after waxing the hair grew back after about a week-ish.

When i was a lot younger, I shaved my arms - biggest mistake i've ever made! I wouldnt recommend it at all. Because of that, mine grew back much thicker and it was all prickly. So i decided to try waxing instead

Isn't it great to be smooth :-). I'm always amazed how many girls who shave/wax/epilate everywhere else have gorilla-style au naturel arms, even in short sleeves in the summer. Why do it?

You might want to epilate rather than wait for your arm hair to grow back so you can wax it again.

Lucky you... for those of us in whom arm hair is an issue we might want to get rid of it?
