I have applied to both of these universities for the LLB degree and i have been offered a place. I am wondering which one i should choose and why? I am honestly very confused.

Hi Im in a similar dilemma and trying to decide between Kent and Cardiff. I like the course and environment in both universities. Cardiff is a Russell University therefore has a respected name among employers but at the same time even though Kent isn't a Russell University it is higher in the league tables. In the top 30 and ranked highly for research. It also has the Kent law clinic, a law paper, opportunities abroad and many societies to make you stand out when applying for training contracts etc. But at the same time Cardiff has been teaching law for years and they know what they are doing the same as kent. There is a lot going on there as a city and they also do probono work and have a law society. Its down really to where you feel most comfortable because both are reputable in their own ways. Kent is closer to London so that might be something to consider, where all the top firms are, if your really serious about law that is. If you want more information its probably best getting in touch with someone from a law firm and ask their opinion. Good luck with your decision!x

I would say Cardiff is more respected and would probably look better on applications to solicitors firms, etc. However, the difference is really minimal. You should choose the city where you think you will be most comfortable.
