Panic is not the only thing I’m going through at the moment. I’m finding mechanics very difficult and it’s like another language to me at the moment. I have no idea why. Is this what everyone feels during their first 3 months of A levels. Or is it just me?
Can anyone give me any advice on how to improve myself? The questions in the m1 book are okay...and some I can answer and some are very confusing. When it comes to the exams, I totally go blank. I don’t understand what the question is asking me? And I am scoring very low marks in my exam!!!
I got an A for my maths GCSE.and i chose maths alevel with complete confidence...I definitely do not want to drop it......but I also don’t want to get a bad result for my first year. Can someone please help me!
If any sort of information on sites, or useful revision guides to buy will help me a lot. My exam board is Edexcel. Thanx.

panic is not the only thing i'm going through at the moment. C1 IS SUPPPOSED to be the easiest and i am ashamed to say that i'm finding it quite difficult. I have no idea why. Is this what everyone feels during their first 3 months of A levels. Or is it just me?
Can anyone give me any advice on how to improve myself. The questions in the c1 book are okay...and some i can answer and some i cant. When it comes to the exams, i totally go blank. I tried doing practice exam questions to improve myself since its the best form of revision, but although after some difficulty, i manage to understand them.....however when another exam paper is put infront of me....i just dont understand it although i've done exam practise. I dont understand what the question is asking me? Which chapter it is from? What i'm supposed to do!
I got an A for my maths GCSE.and i chose maths alevel with complete confidence...i definetly do not want to drop it......but i also dont want to get bad for my first year and then predicted awful for the next. Can someone please help!

Read through the book... ask your questions on this forum. You'll see that M1 is just plugging numbers into equations. I would also recommend getting a revision guide or something! Good luck, I was in the same position as you, and then I got 99/100 on M1
