If the umpiring in this series has anything to go by, India would use up those 3 challenges very, very quickly :p:
well, the whole idea is that if you challenge correctly, you retain the number of challenges and if you get it wrong you lose one challenge.

D'oh! Of course. Being a tennis fan, I can't believe I made that mistake!

England aren't doing too well, especially monty, he isn't getting much turn or bounce and his fielding hasn't been good on this first day.Really hope england get some wickets on day 2 or india are going to win this series!

If I wanted to watch rain, I would've looked out the window.

The English players made a mess of Wimbledon too so it's all the same really.

    450's up for India.

455-6. They have enough on the board I think. 50 for Dhoni off 63 balls.

Dhoni goes for 92 off 81 balls. He really did take the piss. The funny thing is watching the England players celebrate after taking his wicket. Game, Set and Match - India. 500s up......508-7.

The England fans have got quiet here, haven't they?

Yep. Some absolute brilliant hitting. He top edged the 2nd 6 off Pieterson, and it still comfortably carried for 6. I can hear the chorus' of "you're supposed to be at home" from the Indian fans.

    Nice.

Gotta love Dhoni's innings...he couldn't stay calm for his life. Tendulkar took so many balls to get to his 82 and Dhoni comes along smashes 9 fours, 4 sixes to a sweet 92...

    Well done Anil Kumble :congrats:

Well deserved maiden Test century. Quite comic that, 664/9 and the only hundred in the innings comes from a number 8.
