Two quick wickets for England. Karthik and Dhoni gone within one or two overs...great playing at the end
    Edit: 3 quick wickets...

Even with luck going England's way, India pile on the runs. :toofunny:

Even with RP Singh bowling well, England are ahead of the rate. :toofunny:

A lot depends on how well Munaf Patel bowls. He didn't look too good in the game against Scotland.

Even if england lose this game (likely), my faith has been restored in the team, knowing that they can use the powerplays effectively like at the moment if they actually want to ^_^

Would have been a nice hatrick (of sorts) for Munaf if Powar had actually caught that!!!!

lol, how can an international cricketer drop that!?

Actually, if we're going down that road - how can an international cricketer look so fat?

I don't know? It's worse than some of Karthik's dropped chances...
I think the question is how can an international cricketer be like that :p:

And Tendulkar...how many unfair dismissals has he had on his tour of England this time?!

Yep - and yet, it'll be England fans complaining about luck. :toofunny:

oh Pieterson doesn't read the flipper! game swings India's way...

Edit: Collingwood doesn't read the googly...game in the bag? All depends on Flintoff now.

Edit: Flintoff skies it to midwicket! Game in the bag? I think so.

And that is why Dimi has been my favorite county cricketer for a long time. To get that close was a great effort.

Even though he went for runs (and the no-balls) I thought Munaf Patel did play pretty well. He's got something about him.

Spinners were the difference today, Power particularly bowled well. Difficult to say whether Monty would have made a difference though, I still reckon the Indian batsmen would have hit him out of the park.

Flintoff's dismissal was the same ol' Freddy, picking out fielders in the deep. He should just hit it for six using his power but it just goes to high and not far enough.

Tendulkar deserved his hundred, another bad decision by the umpires.

Anyway, we move on, Edgbaston should be good game.

We could have done better in both batting and bowling but the toss was probably the deciding factor in the end.

Panesar wouldnt have made a difference really, but a genuine one day spinner might have
