    Hello,

I am currently in my first year of a Law LLB degree at Kingston University and as some of you may know, Kingston is pretty terrible. I wanted to transfer to another university but taking into account my circumstances this would also mean transferring courses. I have the possibility of doing a Politics degree at Queen Mary, London (which I think is an improvement). However, I still want to be a solicitor which means doing the GDL.
This might seem like a ridiculous question but I won't know if I don't ask. Would it be possible (if I was transferred straight into the 2nd year at Queen Mary) to later be exempt from the modules I will have done at Kingston by the end of this year during my GDL course? In other words, will I have to repeat some of the 7 core modules while I'm doing the GDL even if I had passed them in my first year at Kingston?

Any and all help always appreciated. Thanks.

    Bartek
