North Hill Court, James Baillie or Henry Price- BRUTAL HONESTY NEEDED

Cant decide all I want is self catered, close to the uni as possible and good 'social' (whatever you feel that means )

Have you considered Lupton? I've applied for it, it's nearish to NHC but a lot bigger, right in the heart of Headingly, and in a nice big green area

Henry Price was nice when I visited, but I wouldn't wanna be stuck in the campus bubble. Unless you go for Boddington you'll never be more than a 30 min walk to the campus which isn't much (I'm personally counting on it to force me to exercise lol). JB is very popular, I've heard around TSR that you have about 50% chance of getting it. NHC looks a bit small to me :P

Okay thanks. I will have another look at Lupton think the walk is about 25 minutes, I'm not extremly lazy but on a cold day I know the bus is cheap but I'm stingy

Do you mean NHC is small as in room sizes or as in people there?

Yeah have be thinking that putting either JB or Henry Price may be a risk dont want to end up being put into something I hate because I couldnt get into them

There's only like 80 spaces for people at NHC >_> Sounds a bit too close-knit for me.

Yeah I see what you mean but apparently they socialise with people from JBP, using there common room. Ahh I cant decide none of them are perfect but the better ones are the most popular so you risk not getting in. Well still need to get my grades to get in anyway so probably should worry more about that then accomadation

Henry Price is good, you will definitely appreciate being able to get up half an hour before lectures and being able to go back to your flat in between lectures and seminars. Its also closer to the centre than James Bailie, don't know about North Hill Court.

Yeah if you wanted to go to Henry price you would have to put it as your first choice and I do believe it is oversubscribed.

Yeah thats fair, i think your more likely to be gaureenteed a place at henry price, because theres less spaces there at henry price 355 but also theres less demand, everyone seems too want to go to james bailie listening on you go but i danno its your choice x
