Anon please because I know people on here!

Also sorry the the long post!

Okay so I met this guy a couple of months ago... we got off and we talked all night at a party and got on really well... have been talking ever since. About 3 weeks ago he admitted he liked me and we exchanged numbers and have been texting pretty much everyday.

He's at uni though... so the first time i'll see him since is at easter, I'm pretty nervous about meeting up! As well as that, he's in his first year... would he really he interested in starting up something while he's at uni having the time of his life? (I'm last year of 6th form and taking a gap year btw) If you were him would you see anything serious happening or should I just cut my losses now?

He's also going to be there for a week when I go on holiday with the girls... his friends are staying in the villa next to mine for a week, so I'll see him loads then.

I just don't know what to do... I can't tell if he likes me enough to start something or whats going on

(PS. I'm very aware i sound like a pathetic loser, i'd say i'm not but i doubt you'd believe me anyway :P )

None of us are mindreaders, we don't know if he wants anything serious! that being said, I know a couple of people who are in uni and have girlfriends back home so clearly its possible. But its too soon to tell, calm down and go with the flow a bit. you like eachother, just see what happens. and the holiday will be so so fun just relax and enjoy yourself...?

No one ever knows if a relationship is going to work in the long term when they start out. I understand what you're saying, you don't want to get really involved with this guy if he's just looking for a bit of fun. But how will you know unless you try? I think this is one of those situations where you just have to leap in and see where it leads you. You may end up getting hurt if he wants to just have fun with other girls at uni (not every boy does though, my boyfriend was with me from a week before university- he's been graduated 2 years now), but if you like him then don't rule out anything just because of the circumstances!

Of course a relationship can work at uni. When i started my then boyfriend asked if i wanted to end it so i could go have fun but i didnt.

Obviously we cant tell the future anymore than you but just chill out, and see what happens. he obviously doesnt care cos he texts you alot so he must wat something out of it
