what are the key points we need to knw on trends in lattice enthalpy?
larger ions lead to smaller lattice enthalpy because opposite charges do not approach each other as closely when the ions are larger. what else to remember?

The books and the spec specify that we just need to appreciate them

I think we need to know adv/disadv tho - like Mercury in the Mercury cell is toxic, Alkaline/Lithium cells are long life, rechargeable fuel cells aren't very practical in cars, and probably that primary = non-rechargable and secondary = chargable? That's all I know!

Do it in your head? :P

Hope the Aluminium questions don't come up, seen few posts on this topic about it. And my book says [Al(H20)2(OH)4]-, another one says [Al(OH)4]- and then the markscheme when it came up in a paper said [Al(OH)6]3-. God knows which is right.

Glad biology went well as this could be a shocker
