    hey guys just thought I would post a list of some TM reactions that I made
    If you find them useful I have other notes I made like that for periodicity and some other parts.
    Very useful!

    I made myself a sheet much like this.. except some of my colours are different

    I have [Cu(H2O)6]^2+ as Blue
    [Fe(H2O)6]^2+ as green
    [Fe(H2O)6]^3+ as pink (think you had a purpley brown colour wrote for this)
    [Co(H2O)6]^2+ as pink
    [Cr(H2O)6]^3+ as ruby-red

    ...How do we know whats right?

    Iron 3+ have never seen that as pink in any book or mark scheme
    and all the rest in your list are the same

    I don't know why but i find this the easiest part of Chem 5, as its easy marks. For me some of the redox equilibria can be quite hard
    you wrote Fe3+ as pink? ive never seen it as pink before!!!!! =S

    It's around 82/100 raw marks for an A* and 73 for an A.

    On the left hand side of the AQA A2 book it says 'Link' I suggest you go back and read through those specific chapters.

    Are these equations from Hydrogen peroxide correct ?

    OXIDATION
    ACIDIC: h2o2 ------> 2e- + 2H+ + o2
    ALKALINE: h2o2 + 2OH- ------> 2e- + 2h20 + o2

    REDUCTION
    ACIDIC: h2o2 + 2e- + 2H+ ------> 2h2o
    ALKALINE: h2o2 + 2e- ------> 2OH-

    Thanks

    It's always been around 82 for A* and 73 for A. Aim for that or higher. Good luck.

    Why does covalent character in Al2O3 lower the melting point, yet covalent character in ZnSe increases the lattice enthalpy?

    anyone got any decent ways of remembering transition metal colours? worried about those!

    although the january paper seemed to be all transition metals (all of section B except the last question) so i hope that means its all electrode potentials because i love that!!!!!!
    Noooo! I hate electrode potentials :afraid:
