    Good day all.

I'm having considerable difficulty choosing between Edinburgh and Birmingham for the course International Business with a Modern Language (Chinese) and a year abroad yeeeeeee!

It's not so much the course since they're the same, BUT which place I want to spend the next 3 years of my life. Each seem to have their own advantages and awesome features.

I'm an international student (half German half Filipino livin' in Hong Kong) and I have never visited either of these places xD so it's pretty much a shot in the dark for me.

Can anybody share their experiences on living in the area and the university itself? Particularly what it would be like for an international student?
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
