I used to wake up in the night with cramp in one calf, which I could make go away by stretching my leg out.
Now I have started waking up with cramp in both calfs, unaffected by stretching, extremely painful and there's nothing I can do about it so I end up writhing about in pain until it naturally dies down. I have also started waking up very dizzy and light-headed multiple times in the night.
Are the two connected? Is it something I'm lacking in my diet? Everything I've read so far says water and potassium, but I'm pretty sure I get enough of both of these. I have a healthy diet.
