    I have a few really difficult questions to answer and dont know where to start on a few of them, any help would be aprreciated!

    When radiation of wavelength l is incident on a metallic surface, the stopping potential is 4.8 volts.
    If the same surface is illuminated with radiation of double the wavelength, then the stopping
    potential becomes 1.6 volts. What is the threshold wavelength for the surface?

    (are threshold and cut off wavelengths the same thing?)

    The transmission probability (PT) describes the likelihood of an incident particle, of given
    energy, passing through a rectangular barrier of width L. For a particular system, PT = 1x103.
    What will be the value of PT when we double the width of the barrier?
