What technique can someone use to make sure that he has got all the possible structural isomers?

It's not difficult, really. I guess it takes a little practice to "see" them all. -

well, I don't know if you'd call it a "technique" as such; you just have to look at all the possible ways you can connect a number of carbon atoms. Look at them again, to see if you have missed any and delete any that are actually duplicates. Then look again.
It's not difficult, really. I guess it takes a little practice to "see" them all.
