I'm doing two different transformations and I've got my first one back, I decided to transform Desiree's Baby into a letter written after her leaving because I wanted to keep to the same themes as Kate Chopin.

My teacher told me it doesn't really have a genre so won't get many marks and I know she means I need to fit my letter into the structure or form of someone else's (like using Alan Bennett's structure for a monologue) but I don't know any author's or anyone who has written letters that I can use.

    Please help! :/:confused:

I'm not familliar with your original text so it might not be a good example though haha. Are you lang/lit?

I'm doing lang&lit and it sounds like a good example, I'm familiar with some of Jane Austen's other work and I think they should be quite compatible.

    Glad to have helped then!
I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the book, I read it as part of a compilation of her short stories.
If you need any more help though I got an A* in lang lit last year for A2 so I might be able to (if I can remember any of it that is)
