    Hi all,

Sorry if my question will seem stupid, but really need your advice. In the longer term I want to become an individual investor (mainly equities, some real estate) and earn a living in that way. Im not interested in daytrading, more into 1-5 years investments (equities).

What position/sector would prepare me best for it? Some say trading (IB), some equity research (IB, hedge funds), even private equity or wealth management. So many variants...Please share your views and thank you in advance!
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
