Hey guys, I have my exams soon for GCSE, and should be on track for A*s in everything (my predicted grades show this, and so do my results thus far). Anyway, of all the subjects, I really need to fine tune things in both of the English GCSEs. Any tips/advice; who got A*s here???

I got A* in both because I loved English. Literature: make sure you've read the book you're studying, buy some sort of study guide for it, go on google and find quotes from it and find online interpretations as well, if there's a movie for the book you're reading - watch it, find past questions and practice them and mark them critically, put yourself in the shoes of the main characters and finally make sure you're specific with your answers.

English language: practice, practice, PRACTICE. Learn to write fast, learn to write quick...in your mocks give yourself 10 minutes less so you have 10 minutes in the real thing to read through everything.

That's all I can remember really... Good luck!
