Wilkinsons, or supermarkets such as Asda or Tesco are good. For cosmetics go to Boots or Superdrug
You should order online from either wilkinson, tescos or adsa as you probably wont get anywhere cheap in south kensington.

Definitely recommend Wilkinsons and WHSmiths for school supplies... for beddings and such there's supermarkets such as Asdas, Tesco and Sainsbury's.
You can always try www.all-unied.com, it's a website that sells packs of essentials students may need like bedding and kitchen untensils. I believe there's even a specific pack for students going to Imperial. The useful thing about this site is they'll deliver your stuff right to your university accommodation.
