    He's a bit annoying, and his shows are remarkably vacuous.

    I wouldn't mind so much if there was actually a decent highbrow alternative, a kind of science newsnight to Cox's newsround. But there isn't, which is a complete dereliction of duty by the BBC in my opinion.

    As much as it pains me to say this..

    I preferred his old stuff, before he was famous > . <
    Now he's like the figurehead for showing physics to the general population he doesn't go into as much detail in his shows. back in 2007 I think he did a show about time and atoms and it was really detailed and actually insightful. now its all wishy washy so people wont get bored. true shame.

    Jim Al-Klalili is filling that niche though with everything and nothing and all his previous shows, I've had the privilege of meeting him once actually, really nice guy!
