I'm a guy and my girlfriend just split up with me, we were really close and I thought it was going to last a very long time but a few days after we reached a year and a half she suddenly turned round and said she had "doubts" about the relationship, in my view it was because my bes mate and her best friend wer together aswell for longer, but he broke up with her 3weeks before we broke up.

I don't want to loose contact at all with her and we still tak on the phone for like 1/2 hour(s) nearly every night. I am confused what this means and as I don't have any really close friends that are girls I dont have a girls oppinion as boys don't exactly know what girls want.
I just want to know do you think there is any chance in getting back with her without looking desperate? And what could I do?

Firstly, it's not fair to assume that her doubts stemmed from the fact that your best mates split up, although it may have got her thinking about the issues in your own relationship.

It does seem strange that she still spends so much time talking to you, and you need to bring up this confusion with her or risk getting hurt. Maybe just ask if there is anything there between the two of you any more. Open up to her, and she'll open up to you.

The fact that she's still spending so long each day talking to you is a good sign What do you talk about though? If you feel that comfortable with her you should be able to ask her what's going on between you two.
