Hypothetically speaking if my IOP for english were due in a week, and i had my crerative element set, how can i develop my thesis?
I have chosen A Streetcar Named Desire and Ive decided to elaborate more on the characters, but idk what to do now, or what to look for in the book?:confused::confused::confused:

You could do the trajectory of each character's life, an analysis of "justice and fairness", write a monologue for each character at different points of the play, or a poem?

There's so much stuff you can do for that play.

Light and Dark is an interesting one - Williams uses this in his representing of illusion and reality, or lies and truth. You can also talk about how Stella avoids light whenever she can, because it is brutally exposing of the truth about her fading youth and beauty.

Use of music is another interesting one, you can go into as much detail as you want about this - there is SO MUCH in the stage directions specifying what music should come where. Some of it has very specific significance as well, I can't remember the details exactly but yeah, do some research.
