If you don't achieve the grades you'll either
a) go through clearing
b) apply next year and take a gap year/get a job
And no the world doesn't revolve around uni!

Not going is not the end, and not getting into the 'best' certainly isnt.
Imagine this, you get AAB, or ABB.
You will quickly ring up the universities and double check you cannot get in, lots of people get in under their offers, but it is lucky if you do.
If you don't get in, you go through clearing.
With grades such as above you'll find many good places, but if none are for you then you can just apply a year later, you'll get an unconditional from a AAB-ABB university, and can do a year work/work experience.
