Will this be the first test you've had?! If so it may last about 30mins - 1 hour. You then normally get referred to a specialist which is the same stuff just a bit longer!! then you can get help.

Its just a series of questions asked really.. about shapes on pieces of paper or to put blocks together correctly in a pattern that match the piece of paper. Also stuff like remembering numbers - she may read out number then ask you to repeat them e.g. 3,7,9,2,5, then she may change it and ask you to remember them and repeat them backwards(quite hard!! haha)

I found the test quite fun to be honest haha. Except when she got me to write a short timed essay about a random subject.

my test was a lot longer and more in depth,it was fun though. If you are dyslexic then you get an assessment that lasts about 2 hours. Then the computer and all the other goodies.

i was positive on my dyslexia screening but i have to have a full assessment from an educational pyschologist. to prove i need the extra time to actually finish an exam! ridiculous :/
but i know it is best to try to get as early as possible, have you tried getting it done through the college? because just imagine how many other students may be in your position, and imagine how long that waiting list will be :O (that last part is actually what the guy who did my dyslexia screening test told me )
