I know this isn't really H&R, but I want to post anon. So mods, please anon or delete.
I've got an offer from a UK university that I'm going to firm.
I'm really scared I'll miss my grades though, as my UK insurance uni also wants high grades.
Now, I have an offer from a US university. Can I accept that and the UK university, or would I get in trouble? As in, would one of the unis withdraw their offer?
Anybody that did this or knows about it, help? Pretty please?

Well if you accept the US university you have to go there. I did my undergrad in the States and I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

I think you're allowed to accept both US and UK. For the US, you have to pay an enrollment fee, and then if you don't go you just don't get the money back. In the UK, if you make your offers, I think you can still reject both the firm and insurance unis. What you can't do is get the points for your firmed uni and then try to take the insurance. And no, the UK uni won't know about the US uni, so they won't withdraw the offer...
NB, i'm not 100% sure about this...I'd ask your college couselor, they'd know best.

I think if you firm the UK ones you have to go as they see it as a contract so if ur more set on going there then go for it
