Hello all, im having some major issues with my university and have a few questions, I am currently studying on my 2nd year (undergraduate), i am repeating this year atm, due to mitigating circumstances last year. but the same problems have kept me from being able to complete university again this year.

i was wondering is it possible for me to leave my university for a year... and then apply to University again (Same or Other). The reason i am asking this is because i do not think the university will let me have a gap year. Any insight on this matter will be much appreciated.

    Thank you

Ask them can you intercalate. I don't think its that uncommon. My university were very supportive, although i didn't end up doing it in the end. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Ask them for a leave of absence. I know this has been offered to people at my uni who are on the verge of failing so if you have mitigating circumstances I'm sure they will be more lenient. But if you want to reapply why don't you just leave and do so?
