# Calculating the rate constant watch

1. Ive calculated the initial rate of reaction to be 5x10-3s-1 (because it is an absorbance)

I have two reactants in the rate equation, therefore is it:

K = 0.005s-1/ (2moldm-3)(2moldm-3)
=

1.25mol-2dm6s-1?

rate of rxn is defined as change in concentration per unit time, so should have unit of mol per dm cube per s.
