    I am wondering what are good GCSE grades to get into Medical School? (Minimal required)

    Just aim as high as possible? Minimum to stand out a good amount of As and A*s

    Minimum I would say 4 A* and rest A grades. Absolute minimum though.

    Actually, disregarding oxbridge, universities understand that people don't throw themselves into GCSEs like they do A-levels, so they don't really care as long as you excel in your A-levels. Obviously you have to have the usual 5 A*-Cs, but lets be honest, that's a piece of p*ss.

    depends on the uni, some uni's will prefer high UKCAT scores and A level results, others will prefer high around the board but won't expect as high A levels

    also you should check if the entry requirements are minimum grades for offers or average grades for offers
