    Hi everyone,
So a couple of weeks ago I got my unit 1 AS results back from biology
My whole class did awful mostly getting u's and e's, I somehow scraped a D at 50UMS
My teacher said we have all done well in the ICER
So now im stuck, my teacher told me I shouldn't resit again as it will bring my unit 2 mark down too
If I was to get a C somehow at AS is there still a chance of getting an A at A2 or is that impossible, do marks get carried over, my school is bad at teaching us this stuff
What are the percentages of marks from each unit and ICER aswell, if anyone could please aswer. Thanks!

*also, does anyone have any tips on how to revise, my teachers think its university, so we have to teach most things ourselves

well if you get 70 in unit 2 (grade B) then your unit 1 and unit 2 average would be a C. but depending how well you did in the coursework, depends whether you would get higher/lower than a C.

if we ignore coursework and say that your AS is out of 200 and your A2 out of 400, then you would have 120/200. to get an A overall in A2 you would need 320/400. this would mean you would need FULL UMS in both your A2 units to achieve an A.
