    Hey guys..

Do any of you have experience or know of or had a girlfriend where you had this problem?....

My doctor keeps saying my body is fine and there is plenty of 'space'... but i cant have sex for some reason.

She suggested it might be vaginismus... i read online that some dont solve this issue and if they do it takes years

im worried... i mean.. i have to experience real sex sometime.. im 20 and cant have penetrated sex. It hurts and it feels like there is a wall and he can't get through...

    Any advice? thanks

i was with a girl who had something like that, everything would just hugely tense up.

in the end it just took lots of lube and some gritting of teeth on her part. after the first couple of times it wasn't an issue anymore.

get your doctor to give you some vaginal dilators as they're meant to help

You should stop crying and just let the man put it in you.

Firstly kudos for not posting anon.

Secondly I have had partners with this condition. It takes time, relaxation and trust, plus probably extra lube

Bottom line just enjoy what happens and don't stress.

Has your hymen broken? That might explain the "wall".

    Also, have you tried lube?

Are you sure you have explored every other option of what could be causing the pain?
I have experiance unbearable pain during intercourse which lasted up to a year and I was back and forth from the docs worrying no ends, thinking I would never experiance sex properly etc...
Anyway turns out it was a combination of three things, which I had to figure out for myself...
    a) condoms caused me pain
    b) from being on the pill it had made me slightly more dry down there so I need quite a bit of lube
    c) I had mild thrush (no symptoms other than painful sex so never thought of it)

Hope this helps and I hope you sort it out soon x

well atm i am in a lesbian relationship, at the beginning i was able to be penetrated, but now, nothing i saw my gp who refered me to a psychsexual therapist, i had a gyno exam with another gp and my psychosexual therapist said, unless we sort the head stuff out, gyno people are not likely to do anything. So in a couple of weeks, in off to see a gyno at a hospital, cos i have had so many weeks with the psychosexual therapist and nothing has improved.

so it may be best if you go to your gp, get them to refer you to a psychosexual therapist, if you feel its your head thats stoppping you. If you feel its a physical thing, then get your gp to refer you to a specialist gyno.

GP's are not the best people to deal with this, a specialist is needed. Your GP should refer you as you want them too
