I can tell you what not to do. DO NOT, under any circumstances, no matter how tired you feel, no matter how much you need to stay awake, no matter how good an idea it sounds to your sleep deprived brain, snort a packet of Pro Plus. I tried that on one of my all nighters. At some point during it, I decided it would be a good idea. It wasn't. It was ****ing agony. :P
But yeah, take your laptop and do as much wok as possible outside. Cold, fresh air does wonders.

If you want a way to stay awake do this method but i warn you that you can not go back once you have done it..
This is all you have to do to keep awake for all night without feeling tired.
Get someone to help you just incase you feel tired, and listen to music full blast or watch movies aim to stay awake for 24 hrs +.
You will reach the state of tired mode however this is where most people fail and fall asleep keep watching the movies get the person to help you if possible.
Once you go past that barrier your body will feel less acustomed to sleep and you will be able to stay up for 24 hrs + easily without any aid.
So far ive managed to stay awake for over 36 hours without going sleep or feeling tired, which has caused no harm apart from now it is hard to feel tired as much as i used to or sleep.

My methods were lots of coca-cola(I built a pyramid out of them during my breaks, 50+ cans high!), cigarettes and the occasional Relentless. By day three you will want to **** the degree and hit the sack.
Takes a lot of will power to keep going past 24 hours, can be done though. Good luck!

Coffee in the morning and when its cold/cool. For when its hot i recommend SIPPING Relentless during revision and let it slowly activate during those hot/warm summer exam days!

Well, if you reaaallllly must... not that I can criticise...
Caffeine - coffee, energy drink - pick your poison
Be active - I run around the room a bit every now and then, pressups etc. if you really want to
Water - drink, damn it DRINK!
Lively music - Mika kept me awake last time (ugh)
The promise of sleep after you finish (not that you'll really want to)
Pinch yourself - lightly does it!

Don't do it? If you're talking about revising, do it in the day. Pulling an all nighter won't do you any good in the exam.
