What was the first Single and Album you actually bought? How old where you and has your taste in music changed since then?

I'll start, first singe I bought was Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood and I'm not quite sure what album I bought first, most probably the Gorillaz Self titled album or the College Drop out by Kanye West! all around be being 10-12
Although back then my dad used to have Led Zeppelin playing none stop in the car so I was forced to listen to that (back then I thought they where rubbish, oh how things changed)

Have my music taste has changed a number of times since then but I think it's changed for good now :p:

    Same as you:

    Gorillaz Self Titled

God bless Damo and his amazingness. Listening to Gorillaz led me onto Blur.

And yes abit, i'm more into the libertines and strokes now, as my dad had loads of Smiths, Stone Roses, Strokes, GnR and so on and i used to listen to them when i was younger.

Most likely 'I'm Blue' by Eiffel 65, when I was like 7. The first album I purchased, however, was also the Gorillaz' début.

Nowadays my taste in music is too widespread, but I'd say the amount of upbeat pop songs I listen to (from any decade) has been cut down drastically.

    Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory

Awesome album. This was the Linkin Park I knew and loved, before they went all U2 on everyone.

I think it was Robbie Williams' "We've been expecting you". I still love this album.

The first album I bought was '7' by S Club 7. I still have it somewhere.

Since then, my taste has broadened, but not really improved. I wouldn't say no to a bit of the Bieber.

Since I Left You - The Avalanches
    I was 10.

My musical taste is very broad, but I like to think it was never bad - if anything it is slightly worse now than it was back then. I never liked the Spice Girls, S Club 7, Steps or any of the other groups everyone my age loved, they all sounded completely terrible to me. Whereas now I will listen to some ridiculous up-beat bad music, by choice.
