What qualifications are needed to apply for a bank cashier vacancy? Will I need a doctorate in finance?

You need to have a pass in GCSE maths. Unless it is Lloyds.

You need a sixth form diploma. I don't think there are any more specific requirements. You will probably be trained by them.

You don't really need any qualifications other than GCSEs though obviously it helps to be decent at maths. I work for Natwest and I had a maths test in my interview. The most important thing is to show that you are able to deal well with people as being good at sales tends to be an important part of the role.

I've decided to do an ACA in order to secure my place as a bank cashier. Many thanks for all the replies!
