    Hi,

On Wednesday i decided which university i wanted to firm, and which university i want for insurance. I chose Leicester for my firm and chose Birmingham City University(BCU) as my insurance.

Today i got an email saying that BCU has suspended the course that i want to do (Computer science with foundation year). They offered me a place for a different course: http://www.bcu.ac.uk/tee/courses/inf...echnology-fdsc

Although with the course they have offered me i can still go on and do a honors degree it isn't the course that i want to do. It's also my insurance but i still need to have a backup that i want to do. Is it to late to change this so i can apply for a different course at a different university? or will i have to confirm the changes?

    Thanks for the help

You can't apply for a different course at a different uni without declining all of your current offers and entering Extra. Do BCU have any other courses that you would be interested in? There's no harm in ringing them to enquire if they would transfer your place onto a different course of theirs...

I was in exactly the same situation as you. I called up UCAS and they allowed me to apply to a different course at a different university. So it all turned out fine unless i get rejected by them, then i'll have no insurance again xD
