I am looking into doing a history postgraduate course after I have completed my IT undergraduate course. However, that is where the trouble is for me.
I have been looking at a lot of university websites, and while they all ask for a 2:1, some want it in a relevant subject (Edinburgh, Oxford Brookes and Newcastle) while others simply ask for a 2:1(Manchester, Bristol, Southampton and Aberystwyth).

I know that the learning styles of an IT course is vastly different from that of a history course, but does anyone believe I have any chance at all of getting a place on this course, regardless of the university?
I have emailed several universities asking the same question but have yet to receive a reply. I can't help but think that I have missed the boat as it were.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
