Their tins of chicken curry (yes, I should make it but whatever!)
    Tinned ham <3
Their meal for 2 dinner offers where you chose a starter, a main and a bottle of wine I think?
Not sure what else as we don't shop there often. When I'm rich, I'll do my shopping from there

Does it not need colleague authorisation :O
this could be one hell of a fun time if it works on everything
No it doesn't just newspaper. Another trick is put another shopping bag, on the bagging area, get one of the assistants to put their code in to bypass it then just just scan every second item. (This only works on really busy times)

    M&S is SO worth it.

The sandwiches are the best pre packed sarnies around and not too badly priced. Personal favourites : Chicken and stuffing and the Christmas sandwich they do (obv' at Christmas time).

I love cooking meals from scratch and normally hate ready meals but I do think theirs look very nice and am tempted once in a while! The majority actually look like decent, fufilling meals.

Ooh and their sides such as their ultimate potato mash, cauliflower cheese and deli style coleslaw. Always has to be M&S 'slaw.

Their sweets, desserts, biscuits and chocolates are all amazing too. Personal favourites being any of their cheesecakes and the CHOCOLATE MELT IN THE MIDDLE PUDDINGS.

I'd be gutted if they got rid of the M&Ss near me. There really is just that certain something-special about it.

Oh GOD THIS. The thick, long shredded cabbage is SO much more satisfying in a salad or in a sandwich. How do they get the recipe SO PERFECT? Their cheese coleslaw is also delicious.

As for the madeira cake - I can't resist it. I've had madeira cake from pretty much all major supermarkets, and it's LIGHT YEARS ahead of the competition.

I worked at an M+S Simply Food for three years and boy was I ever sick of the food.

But having looked over this thread, I really want to go to M+S now...

(Left job for a holiday in Oz. Another thing to make me homesick!)

Wow look like I should try some more of it out!

I've only ever had their veggie samosa, chocolate chip cookies, falafel and sandwiches. All of those foods were heavenly.
I know where I'm going next time I'm hungry!

Those crispbakes get me hot under the collar, in a way that food just shouldn't. They also do a corned beef variant that is just slaverworthy...
