This is what a vote for Labour gets you.

A quote from one of last terms MPs

(Original post by Ham and Cheese)
Well that wouldn't be very nice

If elected and I become Health Secretary, then I will create an organisation called the Meaty Youth where young people from the age of 13-18 will participate in sporting activities, camps (where sex among all ages will be promoted), and preparing men for war and the women for the kitchen

Therefore I could inject my chemicals into Rebecca Black in the safety of a state funded camp

Song the radio just came on.....let's talk about sex

We're in a new direction if you never noticed. A completely different set of MPs this round etc.

Let's see how we get on this time. :holmes:

The thing I don't get about Conservatives is that it goes against all moral and logical arguments. If we generally tax people more then the poor will be unable to afford it, and generally people will get poorer and poorer. Socialists want equality for all, and unlike the lib-dems, we fight for this right. Right-wing beliefs segregate the weak from the strong, and will not improve society. While some local MPs may help their constituencies, generally society will not be united under their rule.

I believe the member who was primarily responsible for said bill has now departed from our party.

anyway, dwelling on the past is for Tories, some of us are more concerned with the future

I've put in the unedited version then.

Not that it makes much difference.

    Yes you did.

Judging by your response here i'm guessing it's accidental though

Edit: I retract that last line based on the below post from WB.

I haven't seen enough to judge you on :p:
To be fair, at least there's some effort in your manifesto this time round

Cheers for the neg for saying vote Conservative. Not like I'm entitled to an opinion or anything.

The idea for a right-wing government is that we trust the people to do right - we don't need to government to micro-manage businesses and our personal freedoms. Given time to implement a full economic strategy, a right-wing economy would provide welfare for those out of work to live on without trapping them in benefit-reliance by becoming worse off working. It's an ideal of: Tax the rich because they're evil pigs who clearly have no morals because they have more money than the rest of us.

To quote Larry Reed: "The only thing socialism has ever really done for poor people is give them lots of company."

    And what would an election be without a good, old-fashioned smear campaign;

This from Ham & Cheese; Labour's Shadow Health Secretary.

I'll leave this too. I just posted it on the Libertarian internal forum but it makes for interesting reading.
I dislike being painted with the same brush as Addzter.
I had a 100% voting record during my time as an MP, but his was virtually zero.

We generally have very active MPs in the Lib Dems.

No. Socialism promises equality for all. We want to:
    1) Make the environment better (we did not include that in our manifesto, but it is one of our key policies)
    2) Give Gurkhas UK Citizenship
    3) Reduce student tuition fees to £3,000 so that everyone, or almost everyone can afford it, but so we can also gain money.
    4) Support poorer countries by building more schools, hospitals with our supervision, rather than giving money to frequently corrupt governments.
    5) We listen to the people, unlike you, the Conservatives as is evident since they came into power since last June.

How long have the Centre Party been using that political compass image? I seem to recall in the MPs political spectrum set up at the start of this ending term they came out somewhat centre-left.

Also, good luck to everyone involved. And obviously Vote Conservative!
We didn't use it last time.

    (Original post by SciFiBoy)
what does each party think of the intervention in Libya?
Quite dubious. We seem to only intervene in countries that have lots of oil. Although I have no doubts that Libya would be better off without Gaddafi in power.
