My gf and I have been going out for 2.5 years. We moved in together about 10 months ago and it was fine for a little bit but basically I came to realise that living with a girl is not at all like I expected it; I didn't have any personal space to relax and play games and watch films and basically we just argue a lot more now because we don't have a lot of similar interests, which I guess was fine when we lived apart as I could fit seeing her AROUND those hobbies.
We nearly split in August, then again around Christmas, and we argued last week, and my gf said she's made arrangements to live with a mate in case things go South. Our current rent contract runs out in mid-May, and I've begun looking for flats casually online.
I figure I'm going to want a month to move and sort everything out, but how do I pull the trigger on this? I think I just want a studio flat by myself to do what I want, and while it will be the end for us, I think we've just kinda fallen out of love really. We haven't had sex in 2.5 months ffs.
I know it'll destroy her deep down and it's going to be painful for me, but why drag it out? We're civil enough day to day but the spark just isn't there anymore and we've tried to reignite it a few times but we're just not very compatible living together.

tell her you aren't getting laid enough and you expect it every day for personal sanity. when she says no just walk, you were fair enough and its her fault.
