    Easy mistake to make. Jambon, ham. Jam is confiture (unless it's a "traffic jam" [embouteillage] :rolleyes:).

    That's interesting, do you know some spanish? Because you meant ham but maybe you were thinking of the spanish pronunciation of 'j'

    she doesn't want to be rude, i know it sounds weird, but i've been on 2 exchanges both to france, and at first i felt like i didn't want to eat too much of their food because it was theirs and i didn't want to annoy them or anything! then i just felt like part of the family but i'm 100% sure this is why. french people the same when they came over because we talked about it!

    I do speak some Spanish, but this was just a simple mistake, I didnt pay attention when I wrote, dont know why I mixed the two words up haha
