# Is this the quantity of iron (II) sulfur formed? watch

1. If we have the following reaction:

Fe(s) + S(s) -----> FeS(s)

If 7g of iron is heated with excess sulfur, will we in this case have 0.125 mol or 11g of FeS formed?

Thanks.
2. n= 7/55.8 = 0.125

0.125 x 87.8
= 11g

So yes
3. (Original post by Artemis 97)
n= 7/55.8 = 0.125

0.125 x 87.8
= 11g

So yes
Thanks a lot.
