Shadowing a nurse

If I worked in a treatment room with a nurse would that be a good idea for experience for a medical course? There are very few places in my area which take on volunteers so I am really struggling to find something to do

Definitely! :ahee: You get to experience life within a hospital environment, you'll see how the nurses interact with one another, how they commmunicate with their patients..

- A good idea will be to make sure you record what you see/what you've learnt after every time you shaddow. That way you can refer to your notes when it comes to writing your PS or preparing for an interview ..:cookie:

If you're over 18, just become a HCA, it'll be like paid work experience...
